TOKYO DIAMOND TOUR
Tour details and outline
1. MAPLE LOUNGE
This lounge on the first floor of Foot Town is only for TOKYO DIAMOND TOUR participants.
Tour participants gather in this lounge where they can enjoy drinks and sweet snacks while relaxing until the start of their special journey.
When it is time to depart, they will be shown by a dedicated attendant to the TOKYO DIAMOND TOUR’s exclusive entrance, Diamond Lane, and take a private elevator to the Main Deck.
2. TOP DECK GATE
The first place you go after arriving on the Main Deck (150 meters) is TOP DECK GATE. From this gate, tour participants enter within the “memories of TOKYO TOWER.” Sometimes experiencing new sensations, sometimes reminded of their own memories, participants will start to feel as if they are becoming lost among the memories of TOKYO TOWER. At the end of the show, enticed by falling autumn leaves, you get on the elevator that comes to pick you up, and… The elevator’s destination is revealed to be a certain place that could be called the “origin of TOKYO TOWER hospitality.”
—3. Koh-Yo-Kan
- Maple Club -
The Koh-Yo-Kan was a Japanese-style social venue that once stood here and was visited by many prominent figures. Having long provided people with hospitality, the site of Shiba Park carries on that spirit and is now revived as a Koh-Yo-Kan for the Reiwa era, imbued with a neo-Japanese style. The resident Memory Keeper will embed tour participants into the memories of TOKYO TOWER.
—4. TOP DECK
The 250-meter-high Top Deck is completely covered with geometric mirrors reflecting once-in-a-lifetime scenery captured in the moment. The symbolically potent V-shaped monument is made up of actual steel supports that have continued to sustain TOKYO TOWER since its opening. Tour participants are welcomed by the steel frame that has long gazed upon Tokyo from this spot along with a grand panorama of the city center spanning 360 degrees. The glowing tatami mats spread over the floor are designed with the Koh-Yo-Kan’s interior as a motif. Together with the geometric mirrors and the light streaming in through the windows, they create a glittering atmosphere.
—5. RECOLLECTION GATE
Please speak with an attendant when you are ready to leave. They will show you to the elevator that takes you back.
When you get down to the Main Deck at the end of the tour, you will pass through the RECOLLECTION GATE, which displays the day’s scenery and tour participants, and on which memories of TOKYO TOWER are engraved every day.
6. Back to the MAPLE LOUNGE
After your journey is over, please return to the MAPLE LOUNGE on the first floor of Foot Town and receive a gift from TOKYO TOWER as you savor your lingering impressions of the tour. TOKYO DIAMOND TOUR participants will be able to visit the Main Deck and MAPLE LOUNGE as many times as they like on the same day.
